How it works
1. Start a session
When you arrive, start a safety session and set how long the appointment should take. Add the basics — who you're meeting, where, and when — so everything is in one place.
2. We keep the timer
While your session runs, Watch My Back keeps a quiet check-in timer, with a visible notification on your phone so you always know a session is active.
3. Check in when you're done
One tap ends the session when you leave. If the timer runs out and you don't check in, Watch My Back alerts your trusted contacts with your session location.

Private by design
Your location and microphone are only used during a safety session that you start, and a session stops the moment you end it. Session audio is processed on your phone, not uploaded. Your session details stay on your device. We don't sell personal data, we don't run ads, and this website uses no trackers or analytics.
An honest limit: Watch My Back alerts your own trusted contacts — it is not a monitoring service and not a substitute for emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US) first.
